Age Geek

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Age Geek ("the site", "we") treats information when you use it. By using the site you agree to the practices described here. We keep this deliberately simple, because the site is built to collect as little as possible.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask you to sign up, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or postal address. There is no account and no login, and we cannot identify you personally from your use of the site.

The birthday you enter

The birth date you choose in the calculator is processed entirely inside your own browser. The calculation runs in JavaScript on your device, and the date is never uploaded, transmitted, logged, or sent to us or to anyone else. It is not written to cookies, local storage, or any database, and there is no server that receives it. When you close or reload the tab, the date is gone.

If you choose to tap one of the share buttons, your browser opens the social network or messaging app you picked with a message pre-filled for you. That message contains your age in years and the milestone shown on your result card — never your birth date — and nothing is shared unless you complete the post yourself in that app. The "copy link" button copies only the address of this site.

Information stored on your device

Age Geek itself does not save anything in your browser's cookies or local storage. Third-party ad networks may store their own values on your device, as described below, and you can clear those at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Cookies and advertising

This site is supported by advertising served through third-party advertising networks. These networks and their partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure how ads perform. We do not control these cookies and do not receive the data they collect. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings, and you can usually opt out of personalised advertising through your device or ad-provider settings.

Third-party services

These providers handle any data they receive under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Children's privacy

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser at any time, use a private/incognito window, or use browser and device controls to limit ad tracking.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its "last updated" date.
